What is an Improper Fraction?
An improper fraction is a fraction where the numerator (top number) is greater than or equal to the denominator (bottom number). Examples: 5/4, 7/3, 11/2
Conversion Formulas
Improper → Mixed: whole = num ÷ den, remainder = num % den
Mixed → Improper: num = (whole × den) + num
