About Spin

Spin is an intrinsic form of angular momentum carried by particles. The spin angular momentum has magnitude |S| = ℏ√(s(s+1)) and z-component Sz = msℏ. Particles with half-integer spin (1/2, 3/2, ...) are fermions and obey the Pauli exclusion principle. Particles with integer spin (0, 1, 2, ...) are bosons.
