Welch's T-Test Calculator

Compare two means when variances are unequal (heteroscedastic)

About Welch's T-Test

Welch's t-test is an adaptation of Student's t-test for unequal variances.

When to use: When groups have different variances (heteroscedasticity).

Advantage: More robust than Student's t-test; doesn't assume equal variances.

Degrees of freedom: Calculated using Welch-Satterthwaite equation (not n₁+n₂-2).
