Starter Tips
- Use equal parts bread flour and whole wheat for best activity
- Feed at the same time daily for consistency
- Store in fridge if not baking frequently (feed weekly)
- Use at peak (doubled, domed top, not yet fallen)
- Discard can be used for pancakes, crackers, pizza dough
- Temperature is key - warmer = faster fermentation
