What is Population Mean?

The population mean (denoted by mu) is the arithmetic average of all values in a complete population. Unlike the sample mean, which estimates the population parameter from a subset, the population mean represents the true central tendency when you have data for every member of the population.

Population Mean Formula

Formula:

mu = (Sum of all Xi) / N

Where Xi represents each value in the population and N is the total population size.
