Point-biserial correlation measures the relationship between a dichotomous variable (0/1) and a continuous variable.

It's mathematically equivalent to Pearson's r when one variable is binary.

Formula: rpb = (M₁ - M₀) / s × √(n₀n₁ / n(n-1))
