About Relative Risk

Relative risk (RR) compares the risk of an event between two groups. It is the ratio of the probability of the event in the exposed group to the probability in the unexposed group.

Formula: RR = (a/n1) / (c/n2)

RR > 1 indicates increased risk, RR < 1 indicates decreased risk, and RR = 1 indicates no association.
